Holly Martin, Photographer & Content Creator






For over 18 years, professional photographer Holly Martin has masterfully been capturing people candidly living and moving amidst their environments.


“Personally, I love to observe the flow and movement in a whirlwind of connections and subtle moments between friends, family and strangers. Capturing a subtle smile, soft touch or twinkle in an interaction between people is such a rewarding experience.”


Her ability to naturally capture the colours and details that make the world rich and wonderfully warm, ensure her clients have memorable images they will cherish for years to come.


Having graduated in Canada from Fanshawe College’s Commercial Photography program in 2005; Holly spent the following years immersing herself in the study of light, form and nature in the wilderness of Banff, Canada.


Her work has been showcased and sold in Banff National Park, at Baker Creek Chalets. It was also featured in a solo exhibit in Greenhead, Western Australia and a portion is now on display in the Royal Perth Hospital, Burns Wing. She has lived remotely in both Canada and Western Australia and has a keen personal passion for documenting both people and nature.


“When I was young, my days were spent reading and observing the incredible photography in National Geographic magazines. This pastime sparked the journalistic imagery seed and led to my pursuit of photography as a skillset. It also led me to the discovery of several new species of spider here in Western Australia.”


Further work has been published in a number of publications across Western Australia and New Zealand including Business News, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA’s REP’s Magazine, Stuff.Co.NZ, Essential Baby, The Quokka, The Mid West Times, Conservation Council of Western Australia (and more).

Holly and I worked together on a story that focused on the rural region of Eneabba in the Mid West. To get the piece to print in a short turn around time, Holly sourced contacts and went on location to photograph several portraits of a local farming couple to be used in the editorial. Her work perfectly captured the mood of the story. Because she worked so quickly, the editorial also went to print on time.

She made the whole process quick and effortless.

Holly came to shoot my yoga practice in Ubud, Bali. We worked in the early morning hours capturing some wonderful moments of mindfulness. These vivid images are going to be used to promote my yoga retreats that will be based in Bali. Her work will help strengthen my brand of yoga and showcase the lush landscape of Indonesia.

I’m so pleased with the results!

We had such a great experience with Holly during our prenatal photo shoot. I'm always awkward in front of the camera but she has a naturally relaxed approach. You hardly notice the photos being taken, which results in beautiful unposed photos. Holly has a real eye for capturing soft light and using outdoor locations for the photos.
